How to Make a Battery Holder
Lola shows how to make a battery holder. She uses the following:
- A strip of cardboard about 1" longer than the battery
- 2 brass paper fasteners, 1 1/2" long
- 1 rubber band
- 1 battery, 1 1/2volt
She marks the position of holes for the fasteners, making them the same distance apart as the battery is long. She starts the holesfor the fasteners with push pins, the more small holes the better. She pushes fasteners through the holes, places the battery between them, and holds the fasteners against the battery with a rubber band.
